Summary:

This course will give you the tools to confidently plan and execute any stage presentation utilizing the space you have whether it be online, on a stage in front of thousands or a more intimate setting. From the basics of how to use a stage, to how best to present via online formats, how to understand an engage different audiences, and how to present your material in a way that keeps your audience on their toes, wanting more. Imagine feeling elated as you walk off stage- your students LOVED their lecture. The conference is buzzing about YOUR presentation. Your fans can’t wait to see your next show. This is my promise- to help you reach this goal with the tools I use myself. If you have ever thought- wow I just wish I knew how to present in front of an audience, or I wish I knew how to do this better, then this course will fill in the missing links for you.

Your mentor:

Sophie Armstrong has worked with EMI and Warner Music Artists including Goldfrapp, The Hoodoo Gurus, Josh Groban and The Veronicas, and has performed for Olivia Newton-John and dignitaries including the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed at the Emirates Palace in Sao Paolo Brazil, the Bahraini Royal Family and Australian Ambassador of Turkey, and Crown Prince & Princess Mary & Frederik of Denmark. In addition to studying violin since the age of 3, and attaining a Bachelor of Music Performance (Violin Major, Sydney Conservatorium), Sophie has also studied dance, theater and singing for many years (classical ballet, modern dance, jazz ballet to advanced levels). Sophie has experience performing not only as a violinist but also as an actress and singer, taking courses at Australian Theatre for Young People, NIDA and TVPro Television presenting and has performed lead roles in theater productions including Velma in Chicago. Sophie has performed on intimate stages from small dinner parties, to large stages in front of 30,000 and worked with choreographers and coaches to perfect her show for many years before finding success as a performer. Not many musicians receive such a broad training, and we believe that this is essential to success as a performer. Sophie’s course is a strategic step by step program that will leave you with the tools to perfect your own show and take it to the next level!

Time Commitment & Logistics

This 12 week program is at a cost of $5500.00 USD and includes 8 x 1 hour one on one weekly lessons with homework required and personalized feedback by email in between. The homework is a time commitment of approximately 1-3 hours per week. Once signed up, you will be forwarded a receipt and a questionnaire to fill out prior to your first class. Lessons with take place in Sophie’s Zoom Room- the link will be provided upon registration. Course fees include access to group chats & ongoing access to the course materials and all updates over a 2 year period.
