Sophie Armstrong to Perform at the Harvest Celebration Gala 2024

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be a featured performer at this year’s Harvest Celebration Gala, hosted by the Lois Hole Hospital for Women! Over the past thirteen years, this remarkable event has raised crucial funds to support women’s health across Alberta. This year’s gala, taking place at the stunning Edmonton Convention Centre in September, promises to be an unforgettable evening, filled with inspiring stories and milestones that have shaped the future of women’s health.

Funds raised by the Harvest Celebration have powered some of the most impactful programs at the Lois Hole Hospital, including:

  • The expansion of the Allard Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic.
  • Groundbreaking research on the link between anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum depression.
  • A life-changing initiative offering a safe home and comprehensive care for homeless pregnant women.
  • Advancements in uro-gynecology, improving access to specialized care for mature women’s health.
  • The da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, Alberta’s only surgical robot dedicated to women’s health.
  • A seventh operating suite, enabling life-saving surgeries for over 850 women each year.

This year’s event will highlight even more incredible stories, including the hospital’s Indigenous Cultural Partnership and the ongoing support of the seventh operating room, which has had a direct impact on countless lives.

As a violinist and advocate for self-expression, creativity, and empowerment, I’m honored to be part of such an important event, supporting a cause that transforms the lives of women across Alberta. I can’t wait to share my music with the wonderful supporters of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women at this year’s gala.

If you’d like to attend the Harvest Celebration Gala and support the incredible work being done, be sure to purchase your tickets or table soon!
