As a violinist, I have had the privilege of performing at numerous events, but the opportunity to open the prestigious 2012 White Hat Awards in Calgary remains one of the most memorable experiences of my career. The White Hat Awards, an annual event organized by Tourism Calgary, recognizes excellence in the city’s tourism and hospitality industry, celebrating the best of what Calgary has to offer.

 

Dressed in a stunning ensemble by one of my favorite designers, Sherri Hill, I took to the stage to welcome the esteemed guests, nominees, and attendees with a captivating violin performance. The atmosphere was electric, as everyone came together to honor the hard work and dedication of those who make Calgary a world-class destination.

Performing at such a significant event was not only an immense honor but also a testament to Calgary’s vibrant arts and culture scene. The White Hat Awards serve as a reminder of the importance of collaboration and mutual support between different industries, showcasing the incredible talent that our city has to offer.

As I played my violin, I just felt such an amazing energy from the room- so much pride and joy! It was great to be part of an event that celebrated excellence and the collective achievements of our community. The 2012 White Hat Awards will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an extraordinary evening.
