Yesterday I surprised passers-by at Eighth Avenue Place in Calgary with a pop-up performance and media meet and greet — and I’m still smiling about it. Watch the sneak preview of The Crystal Violin on Shaw TV, including my interview with Erin Strate, below.

Playing in that crystal atrium was something else — the light, the acoustics, the crowd that gathered without knowing what they were walking into. Moments like that are exactly why I love bringing music into unexpected public spaces.
