What a whirlwind this stop has been! I joined the incredible German saxophonist Natalie Marchenko in Cochin for the launch of Dream Hotels, a stunning new luxury hotel making its debut here — and it was every bit as magical as it sounds.

Between the celebrations, we were treated to some of the most beautiful traditional performances I’ve ever seen — dancers, drummers, and musicians sharing instruments and rhythms that felt completely new to me. There’s something so special about experiencing a culture’s music and ceremony up close like that, rather than just reading about it.

And then there’s the hotel itself. Dream Hotels has really set the bar with this property — every detail feels considered, from the architecture to the little touches of local craftsmanship woven throughout. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and just take it all in.

Cochin has completely stolen a piece of my heart. More soon!
