Join my family and I as we travel around the globe discovering other cultures and musical sounds, and to my stage where the concert violin is splashed with world beat flavour & transformed into a theatrical tale. Read my personal blog sharing our travel, my music and more. Listen to my music, watch my videos, study with me and join me for the ride! Enjoy exploring!

Last Saturday evening, my amazing *Every Woman Foundation Calgary team hosted a screening of Miss Representation in Calgary, with a speakers’ panel discussion after the screening. So proud of the team and especially Kristen Hood our new Calgary Chair who organized the event, it was her first with EWF! Thanks to Rocket House events for assisting as well. Check out the site for more details! www.everywomanfoundation.ca xox

Here’s a great recap video from the night!

Premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, Miss Representation is written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom and exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. The film challenges the media’s limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls, which make it difficult for women to achieve leadership positions and for the average woman to feel powerful herself.
