Dear friends,

The song trapeze is a fun little ode to my days when I performed in Istanbul and had the freedom to experiment with my show!

I would often start the show atop a trapeze, and then come and roam the room and the podium with everyone seated at dinner tables, while I performed and we had an intimate experience. Very Parisian!

The relaxed vibe, the fun, the drama of it all, was just so fabulous. I loved being there, and performing at Club 360 Istanbul. The excitement and surprise of a circus, the drama of a small Parisian theatre. Over about 50 shows, I grew to love the city and the new way of performing.

Walking down the streets of Istanbul with the other performers who were from a range of places… Russia, United Kingdom, United States… we discovered the city together, and travelled back and forth accross Europe and it was as if time stood still, no one waiting for us at home, young, single and we were all so open to discovering new things- limitless!
